I suggest allowing yourself 4-6 months in advance if you are doing it for a wedding, specific anniversary date. It allows time for you to receive your products and take advantage of a payment plan to ensure everything flows seamlessly.

How far in advance should I book my session?

Nope. The retainer includes a one hour in-person consultation (or Zoom/FaceTime). Two hours of shoot time, full access to client closet items and one hour in-person ordering/viewing appointment. All digitals, prints, and products are sold separately at your ordering appointment.

Is the retainer included in a package?

Nope. Hair and makeup is NOT included in the retainer. I don't include hair and makeup in the retainer because I want you to love the look you pick for your images. With many different artists here in town that have different styles. I will send you a recommendation list, but I leave it up to you to choose the best fit for you. 

Is hair and makeup included in the retainer?

Typically makeup and hair can be anywhere from $120-140 combined. Artists with separate makeup are typically $70-80 and hair stylists are $60-70.

What does hair and makeup usually cost?

Your viewing/ordering appointment typically takes place 3-4 weeks after your session date. All images are fully retouched in your gallery and you will come back to visit me in-person (or over Zoom, if you are out of town) to view your images for the first time. In this appointment, we will go through a slideshow and then your images to pick your favourites. There are many options for you to choose from, whether it be all your digitals or printed products, such as albums or wall art. Prices vary.

What is the viewing / ordering appointment?

I always typically give an average timeline of 4-5 weeks. Due to being further up north in Alberta, and with shipping, it takes awhile to receive them.

What is the turnaround time to get my products?

I do! I even have a digital file collection available for purchase specifically for digital only. 

Do you sell just digital files?

Pending circumstances. My studio isn't huge, so I cannot allow them to hang out in my shooting area. There is a space to sit down and do some online shopping or just hang out. There are no cell phones allowed during shooting time unless you are doing behind the scenes for me. 

Can I bring a friend to my session and reveal?

We are all women and that's totally fine. Please keep in mind I do not offer reschedules for periods. I always say, "you suck, I tuck." There will be hygiene options at the studio, as well, just in case of an emergency. If you know your cycle well, please book around those dates first.

What if I start my period before my session?

I absolutely do! I pose everyone from head to toe.

Do you pose your clients?

I will shoot nudity and I am comfortable doing so. However, I am NOT an erotic photographer, so I will not shoot any penetration. I am very much drawn to implied nudity where your imagination can fill in the rest...

Will you shoot full nudity?

I send out a "model release form" with your contract, after you sign up for your date. You can choose from three options: Full Release, Anonymous Release, and No Release. I will NEVER release images of clients anywhere without written permission. My #1 priority is to make sure you are comfortable with the entire experience and that includes sharing images with consent.

Do you share my images?

Yes! I have customizable options for your experience. I offer a payment plan financing up to six months.

Do you have a payment plan?

Don't worry! Your retainer covers the cost of full access to my client closet. During your in-person consultation, we will do fittings for your upcoming session. Typically 2-3 outfits are more than enough for a shoot. I carry sizes from XS-3XL.
